There was a bit of anticipation building up until this first gig. None of us had played a show for a while. So it was all new songs, and we didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t expect it to go badly, which should have been a no-pressure situation. Fabulous and fun, seeing people out again and enjoying the music. A few months of practicing was all worthwhile, and it was a jumping-off point to do more.
